    Yemen - GLIDE Disaster Events

GLIDEnumbers are GLobal unique IDEntifiers for Disasters. Each disaster is registered in a record that contains a GLIDEnumber that uniquely identifies it and allows information to be interoperable across multiple disaster information sources, both structured and textual. Accessing disaster information can be a time consuming and laborious task. Not only is data scattered but frequently identification of the disaster can be confusing in countries with many disaster events and across borders. To address both of these issues, Asian Disaster Reduction Center (ADRC) proposed a globally common Unique ID code for disasters. Among the institutions using actively GLIDEnumbers are UN-OCHA (ReliefWeb, FSCC, HDX), UNDRR, UNDP, WMO, IFRC, FAO, the European Commission and the Centre for Research on the Epidemiology of Disasters (CRED), among many others.

    GRID3 COD - Nord-Kivu - Geospatial Data Layers

The GRID3 COD - Nord-Kivu - Geospatial Data Layers 20260731 provides geospatial layers for Nord-Kivu Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo, including: Settlement names, Health facilities, Health zones, and Health areas. This data package supersedes the v8.0 GRID3 COD health areas, health facilities, health zones, and settlement names layers for Nord-Kivu Province only. It does not supersede versions of these layers for other provinces or geographies. This dataset may contain unintended omissions, as it was developed under a compressed timeline to enable timely information sharing and support teams engaged in emergency response efforts. This dataset should be considered operational; it has not been fully validated by government authorities. Its production is part of ongoing work, and additional edits and refinements are expected in future releases. Somalia Displacement - [IDPs] - Emergency Trends Tracking (ETT)

In response to Somalia’s severe drought beginning in November 2021, DTM Somalia launched an Emergency Trends Tracking (ETT) tool first in Gedo and Bay regions in 2022, and subsequently in Hiraan, Banadir and Middle Shabelle regions in 2023 to monitor drought related displacement trends and hotspots in support of operational planning. However, during the first half of 2023, conflict- and flood-related displacement has been significant. Therefore, DTM restructured its ETT tool to capture multi-shock displacements (drought, flood, conflict and other) from October 2023. In April 2024, ETT was conducted to monitor displacement movements during the Gu rainy season. In February 2025, another round of ETT was initiated to monitor displacement movements during the Jilaal dry season. The latest round of ETT was initiated in June 2026 to monitor displacement due to conflict and the climatic impacts of the Super El Niño phenomenon, which is expected to cause significant displacement toward the end of the year. ETT is a crisis-based tool that tracks sudden displacement triggered by specific events or emerging crises. Its objective is to support the prioritization of humanitarian response and en…

This dataset contains OpenStreetMap data exported from the HOTOSM disaster mapping response to the Ebola outbreak in Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda started in May 2026 - Glide number: EP-2026-000071-COD. In May 2026, an epidemic of Ebola disease was reported in the Ituri Province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). On 15 May 2026, the Ministry of Public Health, Hygiene and Social Welfare, DRC, officially declared the 17th Ebola Disease outbreak in DRC. Imported cases from Ituri have been reported in the capital city of Kinshasa and its North Kivu Province, as well as in Uganda's capital city of Kampala. The data has been contributed by volunteers through the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team's Tasking Manager and represents **buildings, roads, residential areas and settlement points (i.e. place) in the affected area**. It is updated as mapping progresses. Subscribe to this dataset to be notified of any new updates. HOT worked closely with Médecins Sans Frontières [(MSF)](https://www.msf.org/) to define priority areas and features. FAO Data in Emergencies Monitoring System (DIEM)

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) has developed a monitoring system in 26 food crisis countries to better understand the impacts of various shocks on agricultural livelihoods, food security and local value chains. The Monitoring System consists of primary data collected from households on a periodic basis (more or less every four months, depending on seasonality). Data are collected through Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviews (CATI) and in-person surveys where the circumstances allow for field access. As the system is developed, the information collected and analyzed is being used to guide strategic decisions, to design programmes and to inform analytical processes such as the Integrated Phase Classification (IPC) and the Humanitarian Needs Overview (HNO). At the core of the system is a standardized household questionnaire administered to around 150,000 households per year across the 26 countries. Standardization permits comparisons across time and space, considerably enhancing the utility of the data for decision makers. At minimum the household data are representative at Admin 1 level (e.g. province, or region) and in frequent cases at Admin 2 l…

    Afghanistan - Rapid Household Assessments 2024 January-June

Following the change in authority in Afghanistan on 15 August 2021 and the resulting declaration of a Level 3 emergency, UNHCR introduced a rapid assessment methodology to quickly assess humanitarian and protection needs throughout the country as part of scale-up by UNHCR to respond to the unfolding crisis - an effort that continued throughout 2024. The primary focus of the assessments were IDPs and IDP returnees who account for the majority of the households interviewed in these assessments. Nonetheless, as UNHCR takes a whole-of-community approach in its assistance programme, vulnerable host community members were also assessed, alongside a small number of refugee returnees, asylum seekers and refugees, as well as deported and spontaneous returnees under an area-based approach. The Rapid Household Assessments (RHAF) covers all 34 provinces.

Bangladesh - WASH Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices Survey - 2024

Since August 2017, the arrival of Rohingya refugees in Cox’s Bazar District has significantly increased the refugee population in Bangladesh. One of the ongoing challenges in this protracted crisis is ensuring access to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services that meet minimum sector standards. As the response shifts from emergency to post-emergency, continuous monitoring of WASH services is essential for quality assurance, timely identification of gaps, and evidence-based decision-making. To this end, UNHCR has conducted annual WASH Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices (KAP) surveys in Cox’s Bazar since 2018. The 2024 round continues this effort, assessing refugee households’ understanding of and access to WASH services, satisfaction with current provision, and perceived challenges. Data were collected through face-to-face interviews with Rohingya refugee households between October and November 2024. The anonymized dataset provides insights into key WASH indicators and supports operational planning, accountability, and improvements in humanitarian response.

Afghanistan - Emergency Shelter Rapid Assessment Mechanism 2022

According to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Needs Overview 2023, 28.3 million people need humanitarian assistance with 9.7 million need Emergency Shelter and Non-Food Items (ES/NFI) assistance. The Rapid Assessment Mechanism (RAM) aims to provide a structured and standardized approach to identify and prioritize the population most in need of ES/NFI assistance as well as to inform allocations. Two rounds of data collection were completed in April and November 2022. In March April 10,900 interviews were conducted by 38 partners. In the following 2nd round, 8200 interviews were conducted. The survey covered 109 prioritised sites. 84% of surveyed households reported that they were unable to repair their shelter because of financial barriers. 81% reported not having sufficient winter clothes and 77% reported not having enough heating devices. Furthermore, 35% said they felt unsafe in their shelters.

Lebanon - Vulnerability Assessment of Syrian Refugees in Lebanon, 2022

Eleven years into the Syrian conflict, Lebanon ranks the highest in per capita population of refugees in the world, with over 1.5 million displaced Syrians within its borders. Specifically, the Syrian refugee population in Lebanon remains one of the largest concentrations of refugees per capita in the world. A series of overlapping political, economic and social crises in Lebanon has underpinned the vastly growing level of need across populations in the country. On the macroeconomic front, at the beginning of July 2022 the World Bank downgraded Lebanon to a lower-middle-income country for the first time in 27 years, after Lebanon’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) had decreased from $55 billion in 2018 to $20.5 billion in 2021.1 The Lebanese lira has continued to lose value in 2022, reaching exchange rates close to LBP 43,000 to the United States dollar in the informal market in December 2022. The country depends heavily on imports, paid for in dollars; fluctuations in exchange rates thus have significant impacts on the prices of goods and services in the country. Inflation is still on the rise: between October 2019 and the time of data collection in June 2022 the Consumer Price Index,…
