    This dataset contains Copernicus EMS Rapid Mapping products for activation EMSR921. On 10 August at approximately 10:00 UTC, a wildfire spread across the area. It affected the transition zone between natural, agricultural, and cultural heritage areas, with an estimated burned area of nearly 13,000 hectares. Preventive evacuations were ordered for 18 localities across the municipalities of Las Peñas de Riglos, Bailo, Jaca, Santa Cilia de Jaca, Santa Cruz de la Serós, and Caldearenas. The fire spread along the entire perimeter, remaining out of control. On 13 August 2026 at 12:55, an active wildfire is reported to have affected the Huertgen Forest in the county of Dueren, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The wildfire is ongoing and spreading, with the fire covering more than 30 ha and approaching the village of Huertegenwald-Gey, which has been evacuated; firefighting operations involve more than 200 personnel and multiple helicopters, while explosions have been reported due to unexploded WWII-era munitions in the forest. On August 14, 2026, a new fire occured in High Fens Natural Reserve with geographical closeness to the border to Germany and the active wildfire in Huertgen Forest. The fire has affected pastureland and pine forest areas and spread under conditions of high fuel load and low humidity.     Italy - Wildfire in Friuli, Italy (EMSR924)

Since August 14, severe wildfires have been affecting the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, with multiple fire fronts. The most serious situation occurred last afternoon, August 15, on Mount Amarianute, where the flames reached the town of Tolmezzo forcing the regional civil protection agency to evacuate several people from their homes. The situation is still ongoing with several fires still active.     2019 Tropical Cyclone Pawan Path

    This layer shows movement path of 2019 Tropical Cyclone Pawan in Somalia. A Tropical Storm initially named 06A formed in the northern Indian Ocean and later developed into a Tropical Cyclone named Pawan after sustaining wind speeds of more than 39mph (48kph) and heavy rain for two days. TC Pawan spread its clouds as far northwest as Oman and Yemen on its way to Somalia. It made landfall in Somalia on 7th December 2019 on the Coastal side of Puntland (Bossaso, Garowe). The worst hit areas by 2019 TC Pawan included Nugaal Region (Eyl and Dangorayo Districts), Karkaar (Qardho District) and Bari Region (Alula, Iskushuban, and Baargaal Districts) who are under Garowe Somalia Red Crescent Society (SRCS) Branch) and the Coastal villages of Hafun, Iskushuban, Baargaal, Quandala and Alula Districts in Bari Region (under Bosasso SRCS Branch). Other areas affected include the coastal villages in Bari Region including Hafun, Iskushuban, Baargaal, Quandala and Alula districts. Most affected households needed urgent humanitarian assistance as they were already living in dire conditions prior to the crisis. The event is ongoing and the most serious fires are currently near Herceg Novi (Bijela and Baošići) and Ulcinj, where strong winds have helped the fires spread.
